ANTHONY CARRIGAN WILL “FACE THE MUSIC”
BARRY STAR TO PLAY THE VILLAIN IN BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC
After decades of waiting, the sequel to Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey was finally revealed. Other than the return of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, most of the major roles were kept secret. Now we know who Bill and Ted will have to stop.
Anthony Carrigan has been cast as the villain. The only description of his role so far is that he is the “relentless adversary” of Bill and Ted. Maybe the synopsis can give us more clues:
“Following 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.”
Carrigan will join newly cast Kid Cudi and returning actors William Sadler, Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine.
Bill & Ted Face the Music will release on August 21, 2020.
