HIDEO KOJIMA STILL CONFUSES US
IN-DEPTH TRAILER FOR DEATH STRANDING STILL DOESN’T REVEAL ANYTHING ABOUT THE GAME
A year after the controversy of Hideo Kojima being banned from the-then Video Game Awards-the cult genius revealed an extended trailer for his newest (and only project so far), Death Stranding. The trailer showcases even more of Kojima’s love of cinema (evident from his Metal Gear days) while making no sense at all from a plot standpoint. It seems that without Konami placing restrictions, Kojima is at liberty to confuse the living hell out of everyone.
Regardless, Kojima is the master at storytelling in video games and having Norman Reedus and Guillermo de Toro by his side are enough for fans to throw away their money. The trailer reveals some sort of invisible aliens with psychic powers after Norman Reedus and his crew crash land somewhere. The baby from previous trailers returns, so that has to be a key point. After that nothing else makes any sense at all.
Maybe you can make some sense of it:
