IS ONE PUNCH STILL ENOUGH?
ONE PUNCH MAN SEASON TWO PREMIERE DATE REVEALED
Saitama is probably the best anime hero ever written in the medium’s history. An inspiring story of becoming the best through hard work and dedication blends with the mundane reality of non-powered human life and the disappointment regular people face when they realize their lives are boring.
While a second season was expected, nobody had thought it would take a little over three years for it to finally release. A sizzle reel was released highlighting the epic moments of the first season and while footage of season two is yet to be released, we do have one image showcasing a new villain. The image shows off Saitama with his returning disciple Genos. The man in the background is a new character called Garou, who is definitely an antagonist to Saitama, but may not be the main villain of the series.
Along with the image, the official synopsis was released as well:
“Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of “special training’, he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong—even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch. Now, the great seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth being doomed seems to be coming true as the frequency of monster incidents escalates. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama begins his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association, while Garou, a man utterly fascinated by monsters, makes his appearance.”
That’s pretty much everything that was revealed. One Punch Man season two will premiere in April 2019!
