KANO WILL FINISH YOU!
KANO TO RETURN IN MORTAL KOMBAT 11
Back at the 2018 Video Game Awards, a teaser trailer aired showcasing the return of the Mortal Kombat franchise. A few weeks later the release date, along with characters and game features, were officially revealed during a live streamed presentation. During the presentation we saw the return of staples Scorpion, Raiden and Sub-Zero along with a pre-order bonus of Shao Khan.
In what was supposed to be another streamed reveal, the newest addition to the roster was publicized. Due to extreme cold and winter weather, the stream was cancelled, but Twitter was still able to reveal that Kano will join the roster. Kano hasn’t been in many Mortal Kombat games, but he did appear in Mortal Kombat X. He’s one of the seven original characters of the franchise dating back to 1992. He’s also somewhat of a fan favorite due to his Kano Ball attack. Since Sonya Blade is confirmed to be in the game and Sonya is mostly hunting Kano with Jax, it’s safe to assume that Jax may be a part of the initial roster as well.
Due to Mortal Kombat 11‘s extensive skin and ability customization, there’s no word on how versatile Kano can be in the new game. Mortal Kombat 11 launches April 23rd. Here’s the new roster:
Geras (New character)
Shao Khan (Pre-order bonus)
