SET SAIL WITH CARTOON NETWORK
ASIAN CRUISE SHIP FEATURES CARTOON NETWORK CHARACTERS
A massive new cruise ship run by the Oceanic Group will be the first to feature classic characters from Cartoon Network. Oceanic Group is Asia’s largest cruise management company and formed a partnership with Turner to open a new cruise line filled with present and past Cartoon Network personalities.
The ship is called the Cartoon Network Wave and can hold 2,000 guests on throughout its eleven decks. The ship contains 800 cabins/suites that will also sport a design related to certain characters, while other characters will be featured throughout various bars and restaurants.

A concept look at the ship, which is most likely the finished design.
Some of the already confirmed characters are Ben 10 with its Omniverse, The Powerpuff Girls and the city of Townsville and the Bear Den from We Bare Bears. There’s also a burger bar inspired by Johnny Bravo. The ship will be decorated with a print of Finn and Jake from Adventure Time along with the Powerpuff Girls.
The cruise will hit 13 locations with the stops in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Australia. The ship will start and end its journey in the Singapore Cruise Center later this year.
The official date has not been released, however the Cartoon Network Waves’ website will release official updates on the cruise.
The cruise is aimed for all audiences with younger children being able to play in the Toonix Play & Learn Hub while everyone else can visit bars or character themed rides and experiences.
Tickets start at $150 per night so plan accordingly.
