THE HELL GUARDIAN WILL PROTECT THE STAGE OF HISTORY!
VOLDO RE-EMERGES FROM THE VAULT IN SOULCALIBUR VI
In controversial fashion, Ivy is the most sexualized character of the SoulCalibur franchise, however, there’s always been another character pushing for equality. Yes the most sexualized male in video games, Voldo, is back. Despite both characters not involved in the opposite’s story, it was always strange that Ivy looked the part of a dominatrix with Voldo being the slave. Those who know Voldo’s story, however, will know that Voldo is a slave to a treasure hunter and guards the treasure vault. It looks like Voldo will be leaving his post for the upcoming SoulCalibur VI.
Voldo is infamous not only for his attire, but for his strange hypnotic movements when he fights. Voldo will roll, spin, and flip with grace while spider and crab walking towards his opponents. Voldo’s bondage slave suit comes fully equipped with spikes, blades and drills in a successful effort to horrify or seduce his enemy during battle. Seeing as how nobody would want to touch him, Voldo is the best fighter for close combat once he gets his hands on you.
Voldo is the 12th returning character of the franchise, joining the likes of Talim, Maxi, Taki, Kilik, Siegfried and Yoshimitsu. With the game releasing in October, Voldo’s return brings the roster count up to 15. SoulCalibur VI will fill the gap between Soul Edge and SoulCalibur, so most of the roster may have been revealed already. The only characters to be announced outside of the final roster are the three DLC characters that will come in the pre-order.
With Voldo’s return, the current roster is as follows:
Geralt (guest character)
Groh (new character)
