“WHO WILL BE THE BELLE OF THE BALL?”

PLOT POINT AND NEW HEROINE FOR SNK HEROINES TAG TEAM FRENZY REVEALED

With all the hype behind Dragon Ball FighterZ and the controversy behind BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, it’s hard to forget that there are still more fighting games to be released in 2018.

Early in the year, SNK revealed their Nintendo Switch fighter: SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy. The trailer featured four fighters from the King of Fighters franchise in 2 vs. 2 battles with flashy/sparkly finishers and simple combos. During EVO Japan this past weekend, a new trailer dropped along with some gameplay.

The trailer reveals that the game’s roster was abducted from a previous tournament to fight among each other in an expansive, abandoned mansion and for some reason (fan-service) are wearing skimpy outfits that are customize-able throughout the game. Also in the trailer was the reveal of another member of the roster.

Coming from the Samurai Shodown franchise (as well as some King of Fighters appearances) is Nakoruru. While known for fighting alongside her hawk (Mamahaha) and wolf (Shikuru) companions, in SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy, she will be fighting alone.

The current roster is as follows:

3. Kula Diamond

4. Leona Heidern

5. Mai Shiranui

6. Yuri Sakazaki

No other details have been revealed and the game is slated for this summer.
